new computer

I picked up a new computer the other day and just set it up this evening. I have my own laptop and Chuck has a work laptop but I don't really want the kids playing on my laptop and messing it up, like changing the settings so that the screen is turned sideways (which is what Ryan did to Chuck's laptop). So, now the kids have a nicer computer than I do. It's fast and has a beautiful, huge, 22" lcd monitor. I'm jealous. As soon as I set it up Kyle promptly logged on to Webkinz, played a couple games and then bought some random Webkinz crap for about 860 webkinz cash. I set up our old, barely working, computer on the table next to the new one hoping Ryan will play on it even if it's just typing away in notepad, seems to be what she likes to do most.

What's funny is that I bought Kyle the Digital Arts & Crafts Studio for Christmas, um, I mean, Santa got it for him, and I had initially figured I'd give in and hook it up to my laptop but then decided the kids would need a computer eventually anyway, so now we have a $700 computer to play a $35 game.
