25 months later...

Realized I'm probably posting too much random crap on facebook that's probably better suited to a blog, so trying this again...I'm sure it'll only last a couple days...

Guess I'll start with my most recent facebookl post...

So first Ryan has an ear infection, her 4th in 4mo. Took her to the doctor, got abx, both the kids said they were hungry so we went to Brann's for free steak Wednesday. Everything was going well until it was time to leave. Both kids had to go to the bathroom so Kyle went in the mens and I took Ryan into the womens. When we walked out of the bathroom Kyle was standing there and had a strange look on his face then he started crying. I was asking what happened, did someone talk to him?  Did something happen in the bathroom?  He said his arm got stuck in the door. It all didn't really make sense but he was sobbing by this time. I lifted up his shirt sleeve and it looked like someone took a bite out of his arm!  he said he was walking out of the bathroom and held the door open for someone, then walked out and was apparently too close to the hinge side of the door and it shut on his arm. To make it worse apparently he just stayed there trapped in the door crying, said he didn't want to yell for help because it would be rude to yell in a restaurant :( finally he said a family walked in the front door and a boy a little older than him saw he was crying and opened the door so he could get unstuck. 

His arm is looking a little better, but it was a rough night with hours of crying and many layers of missing skin...and then Ryan was crying too because apparently I was only worried about Kyle and wasn't worried about her :/ and Kyle is worried his arm won't heal before his competition this weekend and his hip hop shirt is sleeveless and will show this (his words...I told him it was ok and they wouldn't get marked down for him having a booboo)

Just breaks my heart picturing him with his upper arm stuck in that heavy bathroom door :***( and can't quite figure out how out of everyone sitting waiting for a table 2' from where he was stuck, and the hostess also standing right there that no one did anything.
